Architecture II: preview

this is a good example of patterns. the angle in the shot is just enough to see the ceiling and the walls and their similarity and their patterns. the photographer also uses the angle to his advantage to lead to the main focus of the image.

this is a good example of shapes. the shapes give enough of a pattern to catch the eye of the viewer. the pattern contours well with the building in the foreground, which helps to create depth.

the key in this picture is the light. the lighting in the foreground may be terrible, but the gradient going from dark to light helps bring out the qualities in the photo.

A good example of details. how often do you walk upon a street light and notice the things that are on it? the photographer does a good job of creating depth of a simple foreground and background, while at the same time took advantage of the natural light emitted from the lamp.

this is a good example of a surrounding framing the photographer uses the darkness to his advantage, thus creating simplicity while at the same time framing the subject.
